From/to the Airport

There are several ways to reach Altea and way back to/from the Airport. The nearest airport is the one in Alicante, also called Alicante-Elche, it is about 60 km away from Altea. The second closest one is the one in Valencia at 150 km from Altea.

I focus hereafter about the Alicante airport  as it is the main entry point of our guests.

The options I know are the following:

Bus

Apart from the car, this is the most popular option.

To my knowledge there are two options:

1. Using ALSA that is the company with the official concession for most of the bus connections in the area. The web site is www.alsa.es. On 2022, the cost of one way trip was 11.30 Euros per person, and depending on the season, frequency of the services may vary. All services imply a transfer in Benidorm. One of the stops in Altea is very close to the Apartment. The stop you are looking for is the one closest to the Espigon Beach and Garganes Street in Atlea. Travel time is about 1 1/2 hours
   
2. There are private bus shuttles, the one I know from some guests is Beniconnect, the website is Beniconnect.com. According to its website, they guarantee a maximum of 30 minutes waiting at the airport, with 6 stops in Altea. This company has one stop about 200 from the apartment at the "Meson Granadino" restaurant. Travel time according its web site is 50 minutes, and one way trip is 18 euros per person.

Rental Car

There are quite a lot of rental car companies in Alicante airport, it is a quite popular location for such companies.

TAXI

Radio Taxi Elche is the company that has the service from the Alicante airport. The company telephone is 965 42 77 77. The approximate taxi ride to Altea is between 75 to 100 Euros.
